Garage Talk

Yo. My ears are ringing. Yesterday was my first PVT RUN of 2021. Holy shit the ZF exhaust is hella loud! Spending long period of time at high rpm will most definitely make you deaf lol! On some grown man shit, I slapped the N1 back on. So I want y’all’s opinion. Which type of exhaust does your ear drums prefer? Resonator and muffler setup (some call this 2 silencer combo)? Muffler with no resonator? Straight up piping with no resonator and muffler??

I’m all about those deep tones and cool vibrations.

Tokkōfuku

Special Attack Uniform. The clothing that many Bosozoku wear.

Some folks are Bosozoku “enthusiast”. I say enthusiast because they aren’t full fledge Bosozoku, but a hooligan one way or another. The ones who are like that may not rock a complete Tokkōfuku with phrases and symbols, but may wear a coverall to represent what they are about (kanjozoku’s & Kei Miura for example). I fall into that category as well. Over the past 12 years I have accumulated quite a few coveralls along with vintage ones from the military. Whenever I go on a PVT run I wear one; an act to bomb the night.

One thing is many Bosozoku drive cars. It’s quite uncomfortable (I can drive with them on but don’t prefer it) to drive in boots, especially a manual car (Nike SB Dunks is my choice of shoes for my Tokkōfuku). From my research I found out which boots, particularly with Kei Miura, wears. They are Red Wing Engineer boots. And from reviews they are quite comfortable and easy to drive in!

Time for some custom work on the coveralls so they can be certified Tokkōfuku… Stay tuned!

RocketFM

From a 2008 video game (posted by Kei Miura, he’s the one rocking out in the brown jump suit).

The song is a cover of The Ventures – Pipeline

Theoretically speaking, If I had to compare the environment to a real place, I’ll say it’s Wakasa Wada beach in Takahama (two hours away from Kyoto).

What a vibe. Imagine parking your Bosozoku ride on the beach and chilling out.

that shows how often Macau races restart due to crashes. Average race at Macau is bout 45 mins. This one is over an hour due to restarting. Amazingly, no one was injured in all those crashes.

Fun fact about these Civic races at Macau is that these cars were filled up with the highest octane available at regular petrol stations prior entering the race, which is tested and documented once the team checks in to the event. Teams must be possible to take 3 litres of fuel at any time during the event. The controlled fuel will be made available by the Organizer. Only the controlled fuel as supplied by the Organizer may be used throughout the Event. The fuel will be unleaded fuel of the commercial petrol which comes from a service station pump. The specification of the fuel will be notified to the competitors by Bulletin before the start of the Event. 🤯 Any alteration to the specification of the controlled fuel as supplied by the Organizer will result in exclusion from the Event.

A few years back I gave myself the title “The Alan Watts of Kanjo” for the philosophical aspect of the culture. As of today I have also given myself the title “Tertön of Kanjo-ism”

Tertön means treasure revealer in Tibetan. The Tertön and practitioners with TANTRA background can translate the Terma’s…

I bet you only see dice huh?
