Muffler Man

One of Car Make TANTRA’s specialties is muffler production and repair/rebuild/restoration. Restoration because sometimes repair isn’t needed! Just a touch up! The kanjozoku and other Osaka-Honda folks perform these tasks on their Eikoh! mufflers (as well as rare/one-off mufflers) to maintain them. Some even upgrade them to Titanium.

Welcome Back

“You created a philosophy, you expressed what people thought cannot be expressed. You created a Street Family. You have taught the way, and now the knowledge has spread.” – Wise One

I started solo. Now I’m back to being solo. That is a true definition of a PVT Runner. – Run The Monk

Welcome Back.

“Externally he looks solo, The Private Runner. But among his possessions he has the knowledge, the Magic, the teaching; the TANTRA. Wandering in the streets of the city, brings him back to his roots. A feeling of pure nostalgia.”

However, this is a different journey now. A journey with divine madness. Nothing is the same anymore. Yet, the newer generation still seeks the old ways of the ancient past, so there’s still hope. He is one of the last N1’s… He is ready.”

Car Make TANTRA

On the meditation of Chenrezig, you may visualize seeing him with a thousand to a million arms and countless heads. The deity in Tantra can be understood as a gateway between two aspects of reality. This is the essence of the Million Hands Tribe. With hella hands at work, we bring to you Car Make TANTRA. You will witness many tasks being performed from many different locations, but they are all an incarnate of one. 📿🙏📿

Geh Vorbei

Hey. How you doing? I’m alright too. Y’all have a good week? Shit homie, this week marked an end of an era for me. But remember, in order to build new things, old things must be torn down. Just as with Vajrayana Buddhism, one of the main actions is to turn anything that’s against you into your ally. Turn negative energy into positive just as Padmasambhava turned Bon demons into protectors of the Dharma. When I had this thought I had my moment of revelation and truth. It’s time for a new beginning.

Who would of thought that making PVT Runners would create an art form. And like all art, some will get inspired and even BITE. But that’s the whole point of it. There’s that quote by Picasso: “good artist borrow, great artist steal.” Look at all the philosophers and artists in history. People are still trying to decipher their teachings and paintings. PVT Runners ALWAYS TALKED ABOUT AURA; that’s spiritualism. So it seems that some people pick and choose what they like from PVT but not as a whole. They leave out the spiritual part of it. And that’s fine. But to fully grasp PVT you must understand it as a whole, not what you choose to like about it.

Villain

Keep being who you are. Change is a choice for some. I will never try to change anyone. I will never attack nor talk down on someone for their choices they make towards PVT. As long as you’re not causing harm to PVT we are good. I’m too old for dealing with shit talkers. People like that will always exist, don’t acknowledge them. Life is too beautiful to think other wise. If you become aware of how powerful your thoughts really are, you would never think of anything negative again. Alrighty then. Ima stay in my hermitage and continue to observe and watch. Using the streets as my microscope and telescope! Haha! ✌️

Live like you’re already dead. Haunt the streets! – PVT Runner

Live like you don’t exist. Bless the streets. – Run The Monk

Old skool sensation

E’S Club Sports was a company that focused on speciality parts aimed at the Civic (AT & EF) as well as the AE86. They’re known for their muffler and coilovers: Eikoh! After the debut of the EG6, Eikoh! parts where no longer made. The company ended up becoming a car maintenance shop.

Imagine, the creator and members of E’S Club Sports probably never would have imaged their parts to pop off like it did. Little would they know that it would end up creating a sensation back then, and a feeling of nostalgia when reflected back on present day. You have OG Kanjozoku’s who opt for their parts and swear by them.

Though the company quit racing parts sales and racing activities about 20+ years ago I bet you they still own some tuner cars with Eikoh! parts on them. It’s good to hear that they’re still around and in business. Something we should keep in mind within ourselves. If you are passionate about something, stay in that mindset one way or another. Stay in the game yo! Be around the things you love and never give up on your dreams. ✌️

N1 Magic

For me, watching old skool N1 Civic races is like channeling ancient Gods and deities. Summon them correctly and they will return… the cars of those races didn’t have large amounts of horsepower, but they can still give a modern high performance street car a good run for their money, so don’t get it twisted.

What exactly is N1 specifications?

Engine and Transmission: the engine and transmission internals must remain OE spec. No dog box and sequential shifters. Baffles are allowed to be installed in the oil pan.

ECU: a lot of teams used various aftermarket/custom ECU’s. They are inspected by the FIA and then sealed with a tamper proof label. Some used the Mugen ECU. Injectors may not be changed. *Thought: I feel the “Mugen chips” floating around stateside aren’t real Mugen specs. Only a few shops in Japan have the exact copy (and legit Mugen ECU’s which they hold on to) of the maps and sell them.

Description of a legit Mugen copy that’s allowed in the Honda One Make and other races that follow N1 rules. Translation: “Based on the now discontinued Mugen Racing ECU, the fuel adjustment and ignition map are optimized on the premise of racing driving to improve the lack of torque feeling at low rotation and improve the response at high rotation.”
[Specifications]

・Fuel adjustment
・Ignition map
optimization
・Speed limiter release
・ VTEC point: 5200RPM
・ REV point: 9200RPM
・ Idle up of air-conditioned vehicle OK

[Conditions for installed vehicles]

-Specifications for vehicles equipped with an intake system on the funnel, such as a bare type air cleaner or 4-throttle, may have some torque valleys.
Please use it after changing to a genuine shape (OEM air box) or a Mugen intake system as much as possible.

・ Install the exhaust system on vehicles that use intermediate pipes of 50mm ⌀ or more and less than 72mm ⌀.
Since it is suitable for circuit-only vehicles, it is preferable to have a straight shape as much as possible.
・ Never use with a VTEC controller.

Exhaust: teams are not allowed to change the exhaust manifold. Since the B series came out with a 2-piece header, teams are allowed to change the lower part of the manifold and back. Thus having a exhaust pipe as straight as possible with minimal bends.

Intake and Cooling: teams are not allowed to change the intake manifold, throttle body size nor the filter style. Some rumors say teams developed a higher flow drop in filter or ran with no filter, but don’t quote me on that. Cooling: a full size radiator is allowed.

Suspension and Brakes: the race car cannot change the suspension geometry. Teams are allowed to use coil-overs with any spring rates they want. If the car came equipped with front and rear sway bars from factory, then they are allowed to use them on the car. Brakes: must retain OEM brake calipers. Upgraded pads, heavy duty rotors and braided lines are allowed along with brake ducts. *Fun Fact: A lot of engineers used data from all the races to develop suspension set ups and other parts to specific tracks. Example; Eikoh! Didn’t just make mufflers, but also coilovers that were designed for Nakayama and Suzuka circuit.

Exterior: no aero is allowed in N1. Depending on the rules in an event, light weight hoods are free to use. In the Honda One Make race, light weight parts are allowed.

Applied to Gr.A and N1

Interior: Dashboard and front door OE panels must remain intact. Roll cage required.

N1 spec example:

The kanjozokus pretty much run the same set ups at the N1 cars, more or less. However not all have aftermarket ECU’s. The veterans (& ones who know they can get away) use performance ECU’s or a stand alone and even aftermarket camshafts. While the younger generation might only be using the OEM ones.

The spirit is still there. The deities are floating around it. Can you see it? Summoned from tantric mantras and Ngakpa’s, I bring you N1 Magic. This is the brand name of all my one-off parts I have made and designed for my chassis(s) and much more. Just like the Private Runners stickers, they won’t be sold to the public. Personal use only. They are sat with sage and blessed using Ancient rituals and chants. Long live N1!
